Our commitment...

The Hundred House Inn has been under the same ownership since 1996. During these past 24 years there have been many changes, many tears, many obstacles but mostly there have been many, many laughs. In more recent years the pub has been run by tenants, allowing opportunity for change and growth both for the owner and for the pub itself. It has been loved by many, treasured, trusted and like most things beloved it has had its fair share of ups and downs.

During these new and different times the Hundred House has called upon me once again to return and to ensure its future and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been a part of its history, whatever part you have played. You might be a customer, staff member, local, friend, family or visitor to the area. Whichever category you put yourself in, I have no doubt that like me, you will have fond memories of this lovely place.

Or, otherwise, perhaps like me you are looking forward to creating new memories here...

My commitment to you is to ensure that the Hundred House Inn remains your local. This beautiful building has stood tall and proud on Purslow's cross roads since 1685 and records show that the Hundred House has been run as a pub since 1870. Today I find myself at this crossroads, wondering which way to turn and how to ensure this beautiful pub remains everything it is to me, and everything it is to you.

I ask for your patience and your understanding whilst we find a way to create this transition and I personally want to thank you for your continued love and support.

We are but caretakers of these historic public houses and as we pass through this time and space all I hope for is that I can leave this pub loved and cherished so that future generations can enjoy, laugh, get married, get christened, eat, drink and jolly well be merry for many years to come!

I hope you'll join me...
